Job Title: Associate Director FP&A (Supply Chain/CDMO Experience)

Overview of Role:

Providing support to the Finance organization and reporting to the Director of Finance. The role consists of R&D therapeutics supply chain and manufacturing technologies, supporting CDMO and multiple Phase III Clinical Trials supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Develop/Update Models for Clinical Trial Drug Purchasing Plan for S&OP
  • Create detailed CDMO Forecasting Model
  • Lead COGS forecasting analysis for LRP’s
  • Review/Comment to variance analysis from function leads on a monthly basis

Business Partnering

  • Lead from a financial perspective contract negotiation with vendors and provide finance expertise
  • Provide financial impacts to purchasing decisions and reduce waste on trial drug
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain/Contract Manufacturing to achieve company financial goals

Technical Skills

  • Leverage expertise on cost management and CDMO contracts to find savings
  • Create/Enhance FP&A Models
  • All other duties as assigned

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in finance
  • Life science industry and prior experience in negotiating Commercial Supply Agreements is preferred
  • Demonstratable experience of working within a fast-paced finance function.
  • Strong Excel and financial systems experience, with the ability to manipulate and interpret key financial data.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstratable experience of prioritizing workload and managing multiple tight deadlines effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge strong internal and external working relationships, and the confidence to challenge information constructively.
  • R&D P&L Opex Experience
  • Enthusiastic team player with an approachable manner and an ability to engage with colleagues across the business with a constructive and can-do attitude to deliver the successful completion of team outputs within required deadlines.

The pay range for this role is $165,000-$180,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable variable compensation.
